Identify your transmission

Start by looking at the left hand side of the transmission, in the rear bottom (A). You will find some numbers, the last row identicates the transmission model. 

Identify your oil cooler port size (B) in mm. Identify the mounting thread size, M6 or M8.

Identify the output flange PCD and insert size. Not applicable on AWD transmissions.

Identify the length of the transmission (D).

Dodge 845RE (Gen 1) and 850RE (Gen 2)

The 845RE and 850RE has a slightly different naming than what we normally are used to, the 845RE and 850RE is simply a 8HP45 and 8HP50, Gen1 and Gen2 respectively. The 845RE and 850RE comes with a unique bolt pattern that fits to the 3.6L Pentastar engine. It has a converter with a flat mounting face, fastened with 6x M8 bolts and a larger PCD than the other Dodge transmissions. 34mm guiding nose.

It has threaded 3/4-16 oil cooler ports, it doesnt have a mounting boss for a oil cooler adapter so preferably our banje styled oil cooler ports adapters are used.

RWD Output flange is a CV type, AWD has the smaller output axle with 23-spline.

Dodge Challenger / Charger / Scat Pack 8HP70 / 75 (Gen 1 / Gen 2)

All transmission found in the Challenger, Charger and Scat Packs shares the same bellhousing based on the Dodge smallblock but with its unique attribtues. It has a converter with a flat mounting face, fastened with 6x M8 bolts and a smaller PCD compared to 845RE/850RE. 34mm guiding nose on first generations, later it has a larger nose with 46mm diameter.

It has threaded 3/4-16 oil cooler ports, it doesnt have a mounting boss for a oil cooler adapter so preferably our banje styled oil cooler ports adapters are used.

RWD Output flange is a CV type, AWD has the smaller output axle with 23-spline.
 

Dodge 8HP70 / 75 Ecodiesel (Gen1 / Gen2)

All Dodge 8HP70 / 75 Ecodiesel shares the same bellhousing based on the Ecodiesel engine bolt pattern. It has a converter with a flat mounting face, fastened with 6x M8 bolts and a smaller PCD compared to 845RE/850RE. 34mm guiding nose on first generations, later it has a larger nose with 46mm diameter.

It has 17mm oil cooler ports, and a M8 mounting boss.

So far we havnt seen any pure RWD transmissions, AWD has the smaller output axle with 23-spline.

Dodge RAM 8HP70 / 75 (Gen1 / Gen2)

All Dodge RAM transmissions shares the same bellhousing based on the Dodge smallblock but with its unique attribtues (except RAM 1500 Ecodiesel). It has a converter with a flat mounting face, fastened with 6x M8 bolts and a smaller PCD compared to 845RE/850RE. 34mm guiding nose on first generations, later it has a larger nose with 46mm diameter.

It has 17mm oil cooler ports, and a M6 mounting boss.

Dodge Hellcat 8HP90 (Gen1)

All Dodge Hellcat transmissions shares the same bellhousing based on the Dodge smallblock but with its unique attribtues (Starter location and bottom bolts). It has a converter with a flat mounting face, fastened with 6x M8 bolts and a smaller PCD compared to 845RE/850RE. 34mm guiding nose on first generations, later it has a larger nose with 46mm diameter.

It has threaded 3/4-16 oil cooler ports, it doesnt have a mounting boss for a oil cooler adapter so preferably our banje styled oil cooler ports adapters are used.

Only came in RWD and output flange is a CV type.

Dodge Trackhawk 8HP95 (Gen2)

All Dodge Hellcat transmissions shares the same bellhousing based on the Dodge smallblock but with its unique attribtues (Starter location). It has a converter with a flat mounting face, fastened with 6x M8 bolts and a smaller PCD compared to 845RE/850RE. 34mm guiding nose on first generations, later it has a larger nose with 46mm diameter.

Only came in AWD and output axle is the larger variant with a 43-spline.
