Inspection and quality control

Do you need a part inspected after manufacturing to see if it fulfills the specified tolerances? Or do you want to correlate your scan with an existing 3D model?

Part of VXElements that is used together with our 3D Scanner there is a module called VXInspect which allows us to do just that.

Our inspection and quality control program

We are regularly inspecting our parts and batches to make sure they are withing the specified tolerance when we get them from our suppliers. This way its easy for us to see any type of deviations and localize bad parts before they are even shipped.

From a 3D scanned mesh in VXScan we import our reference to see how they correlate to each other. A report is generated and we can follow up later on the specific batch if something is suspected to not be within the specificed tolerance. This is part of our ISO program and certification.

Here is a few examples of what can be done:

• Inspect geometrical patterns like holes, surfaces or profiles
• Inspect planes and look for imperfections
• Quality control of manufactured parts how they correlate with digital model
• Create customer specific inspection reports
